As we head into the new normal, people are eager to get back outside this summer. Pierce County Parks will begin to allow authorized small group activities now that Pierce County is in Phase 2 of the Governor’s “Safe Start” reopening program.

Small group fitness, sports, and outdoor recreational opportunities will be permitted with a submission of a “return to play” health and safety plan. Individualized recreation and fitness, family-based recreation, scheduled small group activities, virtual classes, and the Little Wheels Racing program will be acceptable if authorized.
