Local producers, farmers and fishermen have another ambassador for the fresh fare of the Pacific Northwest in the form of TIDAL+, a new restaurant and bar that opened recently at Hyatt at Olive 8 in downtown Seattle.
Touting a regularly changing menu, TIDAL+ features fresh items from local purveyors for dishes like its vibrant ceviche duo platter, offering two types of seafood (halibut and shrimp at the moment), as well as a solid menu of crowd favorites like a lobster mac & cheese featuring Beecher’s cheese or a seafood chowder that’s so creamy, it’s like a velvety bisque. No worries if your appetite leans more toward turf over surf: there's a TIDAL+ Burger stacked with Tillamook white cheddar and bacon tomato jam.
TIDAL+'s wine and beer offerings feature Washington and Oregon-crafted sips. Cocktail lovers will take note of its signature cocktail menu, too. The Tidal Bluetini is a jewel-toned blueberry-infused take on a martini; the SeaGarita is an elegant reinterpretation of a margarita.
