Spice Lab at the Harmon is opening today as part of a pop-up dinner series inside Harmon Pac Ave in Tacoma.

The pop-up harkens to spices from around the world, with unexpected dishes using seasonal ingredients in a blend of Middle Eastern, North African, and New American cuisine.

The menu includes entrees like tahini-marinated hanger steak with parsnip puree, dates, brussels sprouts, and carrots. Cocktails are inspired by Tacoma native executive chef Blake Lord-Wittig’s travels.

“In this difficult time, I think we are all wanting an occasional escape, and when we can safely dine out, we want it to be extra special. Spice Lab at the Harmon is a perfect complement to our Harmon Pac Ave experience. We’re truly thrilled to bring Spice Lab to Tacoma and to have Blake on our team,” owner Eric Powers said in a press release.

Spice Lab at the Harmon is open inside Harmon Pac Ave on Wednesdays through Sundays from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. See more dishes or book reservations through Spice Lab’s website.
