Owners Martin and Elonka Perez opened their first Taco Street location in Seattle in 2017. So far, the Tacoma spot, which recently celebrated its one-year anniversary, also is a hit.

With its casual vibe, quick made-to-order dishes, and full cocktail bar, guests come hungry and leave happy. There is a walk-up window, so tacos can be enjoyed with a view, too.

“We’re not just offering the food of Mexico, but the different levels, and ways it is prepared and cooked,” Elonka said. “We want our customers to experience really good Mexican food that is affordable and accessible at the same time.”

From loads of tacos stuffed with tender carne asada, barbacoa, shrimp, chorizo, and more to giant burritos, cheesy quesadillas, and vegetarian and kid options, too, Taco Street has something for everyone.

Be sure to order an Agua fresca, deliciously made with organic agave and fresh fruit. Or get a little crazy with an Agua loca topped with colorfully sweet Mexican candies. Add a shot of tequila for an extra punch. 5101 Yacht Club Road, Ruston.
