Seattle Theatre Group announced in a release yesterday that the Thing music festival is returning for the third time Aug. 25-27.
Headlined this year by Fleet Foxes, Lil Yachty, Sylvan Esso, Thundercat, and Cigarettes After Sex, the all-ages music and arts festival is happening at Fort Worden in Port Townsend. Tickets are on sale starting at 10 a.m. March 17.
“It’s great to be back for a third year of Thing,” said Adam Zacks, STG’s chief programming officer and the founder of Thing, in the release. “We’re proud to present this excellent lineup featuring multiple genres and disciplines — and are thrilled to return to magnificent Fort Worden. It’s my hope that everyone feels truly welcome at Thing and fully embraces the spirit of discovering something new.”
