A Christmas Story

Tacoma Little Theatre last week had its opening night for its popular rendition of A Christmas Story — leg lamp and all.

This year, the show is directed by Jennifer York, who recently wrapped up productions of Matilda and You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown at Auburn Community Players. The cast features Tyler Weston as Ralphie, Blake York as Ralph Parker, Andrew Fry as The Old Man, and Heidi Walworth-Horn as Ralphie’s mother.

The production plans to put on 18 shows, culminating with a special final matinee performance on Christmas Eve.

Ticket prices start at $20 for children ages 12 and under; $25 for students, seniors, and military members; and $27 for adults. There also will be a “pay what you can” performance Thursday, Dec. 22.

Don’t shoot your eye out while making your way over to Tacoma Little Theatre’s website for ticket purchases and more information.
