This week’s Pet of the Week, available for adoption from Kitsap Humane Society, is Flora, an adorable Jack Russel terrier mix who is about 4 years old.

This girl has a calm, gentle personality and is looking for a quiet home where she can settle in and come out of her shell. While she can be nervous with new people, once she is comfortable Flora loves snuggling up on your lap for pets and cuddles.

Pet of the Week: Flora

pet of the week, jack russell terrier, Kitsap Humane Society, dogs, pet adoption, animal shelter, rescue dog

Flora walks well on a leash and is very treat motivated. This affectionate pup loves to give kisses!

Flora would do best in a home with kids over the age of 10. If you have the perfect home for Flora, come in and meet her today.

Kitsap Humane Society is a private, nonprofit animal shelter that rescues and rehomes more than 6,000 pets every year. The Silverdale-based organization has a “lives saved” rate of over 95 percent, and never euthanizes an animal due to lack of space. In addition to caring for and adopting animals, Kitsap Human Society also provides spay/neuter services to low income residents of Kitsap County and Animal Rescue and Enforcement services to surrounding municipalities.
