3 to See: A Polynesian Luau, an Eating Frenzy at Northwest Trek, and a Zoo Bash

3 to See

A Piece of Polynesia

The Asia Pacific Cultural Center is hosting its 24th annual Polynesian Luau. Join in person or stream it via Facebook and YouTube, Aug. 28. Get a taste of Polynesian music, food, and dance from the Islands of Fiji, Tahiti, Tonga, Hawaii, New Zealand, Samoa, and Guam. Tickets are $50 for adults, $12.50 for children (4-11), and for kids 3 and younger free.

Let the Eating Begin

If you’re into YouTube mukbangs — a style of eating show where the host eats huge amounts of food while interacting with the audience — then you don’t want to miss the upcoming Feeding Frenzy at Northwest Trek Wildlife Park! Watch the wildlife park’s animals devour their favorite foods Sept. 4-6. However, no promises the animals will interact with the audience while they eat their special feasts.

Chillin' with the Animals

Chill out with the animals at the End of Summer Blast at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium Labor Day weekend, Sept. 4-6. Have a blast watching the penguins and polar bears play with icy treats or cool off and splash like the otters on the lily pad splash pad in the Kids’ Zone.
