Nothing says summer like freshly picked strawberries so juicy they stain your fingers pink. Plopped on top of warm waffles, ice cream or dropped by the handful in just-squeezed lemonade, strawberries are a healthy and happy treat. Growing your own is easy as pie, according to Maidee Gregory, an owner of Watson’s Greenhouse and Nursery in Puyallup who designed this pot for South Sound magazine readers.
