Throw a VIP-style Baby Shower
at a Children's Boutique

There’s hardly anything more exciting than the impending arrival of a sweet baby. It’s a great time to celebrate a joyous occasion in style. That’s why I decided to host a baby shower for Tacoma’s Alicia Savage at the new Hush Baby, a specialty children’s boutique that recently opened in Uptown Gig Harbor.
We were the first to experience this incredible store. The boutique as a backdrop added glamour and elegance to the shower thanks to the beautiful design and décor, including two grand crystal chandeliers at the entrance. No details were overlooked, from the themed wallpaper in the fitting rooms, a children’s theater, weekly story times and complimentary lattes and cookies that are served to customers.
Jennifer Robbins of J. Robbins Florist in Tacoma filled the room with pink and red peonies and roses for the event. The peonies had to be flown in from Holland because they weren’t in season here. The extra expense was worth it. Flowers add a fresh feeling that cannot be replicated.
