ANTHONY’S RESTAURANTS OYSTER FESTIVAL: FRIDAY NIGHT OYSTER SLURP

Anthony’s Restaurants celebrates its West Coast oysters in ways only a local restaurant could with its month long Oyster Festival in March! Come out to celebrate with them for their new, later happy hour from 7 to 10 p.m. in the lounge offering tasty trios ($3), from Barbecued Oysters on the Half Shell to the Oyster Lovers Trio to Three Oyster Sliders. Refresh with $3.50 featured draft beer and $5, no-guesswork-needed, perfectly paired glasses of “Oyster Wine,” such as Barnard Griffin 2008 Fume Blanc to a Chateau Ste. Michelle 2008 Pinot Gris and more.

Are you a slurp-o-matic? Flex those skills during Friday Night Oyster Slurp, 6 p.m. in the lounge. Each Friday in March, slurp a dozen freshly shucked oysters, hands-free! Prizes to the fastest “slurper” include Anthony’s gift certificates. Weekly winners compete Friday, March 26 for slurping championship glory.
