SEATTLE—With the current “golf season” winding down for many area golfers, preparations are well underway for the kick-off of the 2010 Seattle Golf Show, February 12-14, 2010 at Qwest Event Center.
Compared with past years, event organizers have scheduled the 2010 event a month earlier to better serve the golfing community.
The three-day event--the biggest consumer golf show on the West Coast--will feature the return of the popular Puetz Golf Superstores’ “Try-and-Buy Demo Zone” with every major manufacturer presenting their newest products and innovations. This will also be the first chance for many golfers to be able to purchase this great new equipment.
As in prior years, this is a great opportunity to learn about almost anything golf related from product to travel, instruction to local places to play. There will be over a dozen interactive events that golfers can participate in; including the Seattle Golf Show Long Drive and Putting Championships, and a new Washington State Par 3 Championship.
Also available to every paid attendee will be a FREE round of golf at quality Puget Sound-area golf courses.
According to show producers Owen Hoskinson and John Tipping, this is the region’s best-attended consumer golf show. 2009 attendance increased by 17% over 2008 and over 53% compared to 2007. 
Tipping said the show is an important marketing tool for exhibitors in the Northwest’s biggest golf market. 
“It’s a one-stop, face-to-face opportunity for golfers to check out the club and product introductions for 2010, the latest offerings by area courses and resorts, and plan for golf travel throughout the U.S., Canada and beyond,” said Tipping. 
The Seattle Golf Show is the official show of the Northwest golf community with support from the Washington State Golf Association, the Pacific Northwest Golf Association and the Pacific Northwest Section PGA.
